Ektor introduces its 5/2 warranty exclusive to the Umbra range
Re-engineered to provide improved features and quality, we’re so confident in our new range of Umbras, we’re backing it with our exclusive 5/2 warranty – that’s up to five years on extended parts plus a 2-year on-site warranty.* If approved, our warranty provides the option for one of our contractors to complete the work for you, or do it yourself.


What’s covered in the warranty?

For the entire Umbra range this exclusive warranty provides coverage for up to 5 years on extended parts, plus an on-site warranty of up to 2 years*.

How is this different to your usual warranty?

Our regular warranty covers Back to Base only. The 5/2, exclusive to the Umbras, provides additional on-site coverage of up to 2 years.* View our regular warranty here.

Are there any exclusions?

Yes. There are geographic exclusions on on-site claims. For details of geographic locations covered for an on-site claim, refer to our  T&Cs here.

What if I’m out of the geographical range?

If you are out of the geographic range for our contractors to complete the warranty work, you have the option to carry it out yourself. Please see the details of our warranty labour allowance here.

NOTE: You must receive an approval to your claim prior to any warranty work being performed.

What labour allowance will I receive if I complete the work myself?

Please carefully read the payable labour rates applicable before you choose this option.

How long do I have to claim for and repair the faulty products?

You have up to 2 years from the date of purchase to make a claim for onsite repairs or replacement. If your claim is approved and you have chosen to handle the repairs yourself, you have 60 days from the approval date in which to complete this work. On completion, please send an invoice from your registered email address for labour only to sales@evolt.com.au.
